The
most important early learning tool for the very young is the everyday
"chatter" between parent and child. Chatterbooks is a major
pre-school early learning series designed to produce the encouragement
a child needs to become familiar with language and to be able to express
ideas in their own words. The illustrations and the questions provide
both the information and stimulation to stimulate discussion between
parent and child. The series is divided into four categories for ease
of use: Basic Concepts, Senses, Animals and Storybooks, four titles
in each category.
Originals were 120mm X120mm 24 pp fully illustrated in colour. Were
published in German, French, Italian and English in 1989
